The Schlemmer Atlas Award TOP50 Chefs Germany honors the country's best chefs for their outstanding achievements in gastronomy. The award is based on the ratings of the Schlemmer Atlas and also takes into account criteria such as location importance, innovative strength and sustainability. It is considered one of the highest recognitions in that field.
Skilled craftsmanship and fine game dishes
Eating with an experience factor – that’s what chef Andi Neumayr is particularly good at. And not just since yesterday. Anyone who stops by the Johannas restaurant, located far in the west of Munich, can sit back and enjoy to the fullest. Andi Neumayr's appreciation for the diversity of nature and his endless experiments, in both kitchen and garden, are the driving forces in his creations.
Those who value regional food must bow to the seasonal offer - which requires a conscientious examination of the individual products and their interplay. However, Andi does not consider the limitation of products as a restriction, but rather as an opportunity: he reduces his menu to the essentials and thus creates space for new and unexpected creations.
